The minute I saw Kitty Yoshida’s grey and pistachio sparrow prints, I knew I had to make a shop sample—something that I could eventually take home for my own personal pleasure.

The colors are perfect for contemporary decors—grey, violet, orchid and pistachio with just a just a hint of mint green.

The pattern is our Urban Amish. Designed for our intro to patchwork class, this project is really simple and quite forgiving making it perfect for newer sewers. But experienced quilters will appreciate this one too because it’s a fast weekend quilt project that pops with lots of scrappy wow!

The kit includes fabrics for the quilt top, the binding and a copy of the Urban Amish pattern.
